Too good Japanese manners

Yesterday it was the Ni-no-tori. We, my husband and I visited the Otori Shrine in Hachiouji. When we arrived there, there were long lines of people from the Shrine. It was a very unusual thing. It seemed to take one hour to reach a hall of worship. We had to go to shopping. So we gave up visiting the shrine. We wished our happiness outside the torii.

When I found long lines of people, they looked so quiet. Moreover the lines were in perfect order to the last man. And I didn't imagine a long line of people. So I thought it the lines of a new religion. And a cold shiver ran down my spine when I saw them. How good Japanese manners are! It's too good. I think Japanese need smiles.
